| The amount of literature on the SAFC on this forum is quite large if you know how to surf it out. I have a folder of bookmarks with great info on the installs and settings and experiences with said product. As far as the SAFC goes, it is an inline dummy chip much like the NEO. The SAFC plugs in between the wire from the MAF to the ECU and you can adjust what the ECU sees allowing it complete is functions on its own fuel map. As for the NEO you are adjusting the load of the injectors, sometimes overworking your injectors. You are essentially making your own fuel map. Eithier one you choose, a short dyno session should be in order after the install.
I personally have the SAFC. I love it and hate it. I use it because I run two MAFs, with shorter intakes and combine the 2 signals into one which goes to the ECU. works great and I can tune on the fly with my wideband. The only downside is I have been having issues tuning the RPM range at 1000 rpm to 2300 RPM, it goes rich on me every time. But I can live with that. I passed emissions the other week with it as my only tuning tool, and no emissions stuff what so ever (cats, egr, cc, etc.). Gotta love the SAFC and WA state emission regulations. VAN POWER
